FLYING HANDS PUBLICATIONS
AUTHOR PUBLISHING AGREEMENT — VERSION 1.1

1. Parties and project. This agreement records the author’s request for the publishing plan and book details submitted with this application. The final project schedule, format, price, service scope, publishing term and territories must be confirmed by Flying Hands Publications before production or distribution begins.

2. Author warranties. The author confirms that they own or control the rights necessary to submit the work; that the work is original or properly licensed; and that it does not knowingly infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, contain unlawful material, or breach a contract. The author remains responsible for obtaining permissions for quotations, images, translations and third-party content.

3. Service scope. Free Book Publishing: ISBN and black-and-white paperback publication are included. The author supplies print-ready interior and cover files. Cover design, interior design, formatting, correction and any additional service are outside this plan and require a separate written quote.

4. Fees, taxes and extras. Any paid-plan fee, GST and approved extra-service charge are shown in the project quotation. GST is applied at the rate stated on the invoice where applicable. Work outside the agreed scope starts only after the author has approved the written quote.

5. Publishing licence and exclusivity. For the publishing term, territories, formats and editions stated in the final signed schedule, the author grants Flying Hands Publications the exclusive right to publish, print, list, distribute, market and sell that edition of the work. During that agreed term, the author must not appoint another publisher or distributor for the same edition, create a competing ISBN or listing, transfer the edition to another publisher, or use the Flying Hands ISBN/listings outside this agreement without Flying Hands’ prior written consent.

6. No-objection certificate and reversion. No NOC for competing publication, transfer or removal of the book will be issued while this agreement and its exclusive term remain in force. ISBN allocation, production files, listings and distribution accounts are not transferable unless Flying Hands agrees in writing. Any rights reversion, termination or NOC request is considered only under the final signed agreement and applicable law.

7. Files, proof and publication. The author must provide requested files and review proofs promptly. The author is responsible for approval of final proof, spelling, factual content and permissions. Flying Hands may pause production where files, approvals, required information or payments are outstanding.

8. Earnings and reporting. Author earnings are calculated only on eligible paid sales in accordance with the plan and format recorded for the project. Returns, cancellations, refunds, free/promotional copies, applicable taxes, channel deductions and adjustments are excluded. Sales and payout records are shown in the author portal after they are recorded and approved.

9. Physical documents and verification. This online acceptance records the author’s intent and the agreement snapshot. Before release or payment where required, Flying Hands may require the author to sign the generated agreement physically and submit requested identity documents. The project may remain on hold until those documents are received and verified.

10. Privacy, notices and changes. The author permits Flying Hands to process supplied contact, payment and identity information for this publishing relationship and legal compliance. Project notices may be sent through the author portal, email, SMS or WhatsApp. Material changes must be agreed in writing.

11. Legal review. This template must be reviewed and completed by Flying Hands’ Indian legal adviser before physical signing. Nothing in this online template removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The final signed agreement, applicable law and the completed project schedule govern the relationship.
